Girls football returns to Borough

Eastbourne Borough Youth FC are delighted to announce the return of dedicated girls football. Our first sessions were well attended with highly qualified youth coach Bill Simons delivering a well structured session aimed at players of all abilities.

The club is looking to expand its female membership and give girls a choice of where to play their football.

Youth Chairman Allan Staples said " We are proud to be rated as a FA Charter Standard Community Club and providing football for all in the community is at the heart of everything we seek to achieve. Having the latest intake of girls join us along with a great coach in Bill has created a buzz around the club. We are really excited about the future and what that means for the young people of the town."

The transfer window is looming but we are still accepting new players in many of our squads. Particularly our younger teams

We are also very keen to recruit girls in next year's school year 1 and 2. We have the coaching facilities in place - all we need is you!!

Can You make a difference?

Our club is run entirely by volunteers, from the subs collectors to Coaches and managers from the treasurer through to the Chairman.

We have built a club which prides itself on high standards.

We always welcome new members to committee and we are already looking for the next generation to take the club forward.

If you have a few hours a week to spare and care about putting something back into the community which benefits the youth of our town - get in touch.

You don't need any previous experience just a passion for making a difference.
