Under 6s Attract Sponsorship from VEOLIA

EBYFC Under 6s Sponsored by Veolia

Eastbourne Borough Youth's latest crop of young footballers attended their training session last Saturday to show off their brand new kits and rain jackets which were provided by the generosity of their sponsor Veolia Environmental Services Ltd. Veolia are the UK's leading recycling and waste management company and have a proud track record of supporting community based initiatives. Their Shoreham based Business Manager Mark Gray was on hand to see the Under 6 Squad train in their new kits. He also received his own shirt signed by all of the squad.

The Under 6 Manager Mark Sweeting (pictured on the right with Mark Gray with his squad behind) said "It's always pleasing when a large commercial organisation such as Veolia gets involved in the local community. The boys are really proud of their new kits and we are very grateful to Mark and Veolia for their support".

Eastbourne Borough Youth's Commercial Manager Paul Maynard added, "Clubs such as ours are dependent upon the generosity of local sponsors. It's heartening that in such tough economic times, businesses are still prepared to provide much needed financial support for community based projects. At Eastbourne Borough Youth we provide football for over 300 children and have 26 FA qualified coaches in our ranks. It would be fantastic to see some of this latest crop of young footballers walking out in the senior side at Priory Lane in 15 years time!"
